I’ve been working on this blogpost for the past few days, because I want it to be perfect and I want to be sure that this day is done justice. Al and Liz are absolutely, without a doubt, made for each other. It’s always so fun to hear how two people meet, and to see how their two worlds and backgrounds come together to make one really beautiful story and relationship. It’s extra special I’ve known them both separtately for almost my entire life. Liz was introduced to Allen by her brother, Nate. They played together on the same softball team, and he was sure that they would be great together. (He was right!) So he convinced Liz to tag along with the team to Florida one winter and the rest is history. They are perfect. Allen is kind and so good to Liz and they way she lights up when they’re together is beyond precious. There’s no doubt in my mind that they are going to have the happiest life and I’m so honored we got to be a part of their big day!
Now, about their day… It was FLAWLESS. Liz (and her mom’s) attention to detail was so evident, and they created the most fun atmosphere for their day. Guests were served gourmet hor d’oeuvres on silver trays during cocktail hour, there was a cold brew station (yes, please!), fancy candies and chocolates, amazinggg individual desserts (hello creme brûlée), and the most delicious brisket I’ve ever had (made by the friends of the groom who I’m pretty sure double as sous-chefs on their days off).
The entire day was just wonderful, and filled with some of my favorite people, and I could go on forever, but I’ll stop and let the photos do the talking.
Al and Liz- Love, love you guys so much!! XOXO
