Kathryn + David
NYC Engagement Session: Bethesda Fountain, Central Park.
When Kathryn originally contacted to photograph her wedding, I was so disappointed because they were getting married just a few weeks after baby #2 is due, which meant we weren’t able to shoot it. BUT she was able to book my favorite photographer in the area (hey Valorie Stoltzfus) and since Val was gone for the winter, I still got to shoot the engagement session. Win win. In our conversation about location for the shoot Kat asked if I had any locations I love to shoot at- to which I replied with a few of my favorite spots and *casually* added that I’d been dying to shoot at the Bethesda Fountain in Central Park for a few years. Her response? “I had actually been thinking about Central Park but wasn’t sure if you’d travel that far.” Hello fate. Just from messaging her in the months before their shoot, I knew it was going to be amazing, but these two blew it out of the water. They got up at 2:30AM in order to be in NYC at sunrise and they are darling, and gorgeous, and so in love- honestly, there wasn’t a bad photo from their session. It was one those iconic sessions that I’ll always love! XOXO
