Their day was the epitome of classic elegance, and it was perfection from beginning to end. The morning began getting ready at Sarah’s parent’s beautifully restored home full of antique mirrors, elaborate trim and furniture, and floor length windows in every room- it felt like walking around on the set of Downton Abbey. Their first look was just down the road, next to a trickling spring. We shot a few portraits in their new home and headed off to Willow Springs Estates for the wedding. And Willow Springs did not disappoint. Sarah had told me all about the
venue and their ceremony and reception location, but when we pulled in my jaw dropped (and it stayed their for most of the day. ;)) Both the ceremony and reception locations were overlooking the quarry and the views were beyond breathtaking. Add the fact that Sarah and her mother and sister, Amy, (you may remember her from her and Austin’s wedding four years ago) could be wedding planners. They not only planned the most stunning wedding, but they made it look easy. Not a single detail was overlooked, and the entire day was flawless.
And then Sarah and Rick.
Goodness, they’re perfect. They have known each other all their lives- since 1994 to be exact. They are soulmates AND best friends. Sarah laughed and beamed all day long, and Rick could not have been more proud of the fact that he was marrying the adorable girl he grew up with in Sunday School. Their entire families have know and loved each other for years, and honestly it made the whole day feel like one big, beautiful party.
I can not imagine a more perfect day, and there was absolutely no way I could narrow down my favorites, so be prepared. This just might be my biggest blog post to date.
This house, and this BRIDE.
Stunning. Adorable.
This was them all day long.
So much genuine happiness. The florals throughout the entire day were created by Bonita Beachy Wedding Flowers. Love her!
The girls were all heels and lace, and the guys were all about their guns and big trucks so we had to do just one photo combining the two. Lol.
These two dolls were the most darling flower girls ever.
The ceremony location was absolutely breathtaking…
We stole a few more portraits just before they headed off as husband and wife…
Sarah and Rick, thank you for including us in your perfect day and making us feel like family.
We love you and are so thrilled for you both!!
XO
Kayla
