Kyle and Amanda are two of the sweetest souls.
They first met at Heritage Bible School, but both have different stories with how it all began.
Once they started dating, though, it was head-over-heels- they both agree on that.
Here’s their story from Amanda’s perspective.
“Since we live in different states- Kyle is from Georgia, and I’m from Pennsylvania- we actually dated two months before I could meet him again in person. We would talk on the phone for hours, most times falling asleep in the wee hours of the morning.
That is where I really got to know him and realized how amazing and wonderful of a man he is.
The next time we met again in person was when I picked him up at the airport, and he says within five minutes he knew I was the one. I think I knew before then that there was something special about him because of how easy it was for me to commit to him.“
“He proposed on our one year anniversary! He came up to my area, and we sent aside a whole day to celebrate. I had the morning- we had a nice breakfast by our pond, and he had the evening. He waited until dusk and took me up to the field behind our house where he had parked my dad’s truck. Earlier that week, my dad, (who knew about the plans) had mowed a path and a heart in the middle of the field- he’s such a sweetie. Anyway, along the path Kyle had candles lighting the way to the bed of the truck where he had rose petals, blankets, and some snacks. We were sitting on the bed of the truck talking, and he randomly told me to come to the center of the heart. I am the most oblivious person, and had NO idea what he had planned when he dropped down on one knee. I didn’t believe him at first; it took a while for everything to sink in. He said the sweetest speech, and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said YES!!”
They had their first look at this same spot, and it may just have been one of the sweetest first looks ever.
After their first look, we headed out to a nearby town for the rest of the portraits…
It was full of lots of adorable little nooks and crannies.
This was them- all day long.
Ahh, could they be any more adorable?
Amanda had mentioned that there was a really cute coffee shop in town that she thought would be neat for a few pictures.
I was definitely into the idea, but what I didn’t realize was there was an AMAZING art gallery upstairs as well!!
I could have spent all day there. 🙂
Amanda arranged to have a first look with her Dad as well- so sweet!
Ahh- look at the Hobbit cake!!
Isn’t it Awesome??
Kyle and Amanda, THANK YOU!
We had such a wonderful time with your families, and we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!!
XO
Mike & Kayla
