These two are absolutely gorgeous.
They made the trip all the way from Ohio for the engagement session and we are so glad they did.
Di is the sweetest; I loved her from the very first email she ever sent. And Ryan, well he absolutely adores her.
You can tell in every single picture. Seriously, he’s a keeper.
We met them at Longwood Gardens for the afternoon, and had so much fun.
The gardens were full of spring blooms, the lighting was so dreamy, and Di and Ryan were, well- perfect.
Ahh. It’s no wonder these are some of my favorites!!
They have the sweetest proposal story ever.
“I always told him I think its crazy when couples get engaged on Christmas. So of course, that’s when he decided to do it. We always went for walks- so he took me to the Berlin Suites and took me to a gazebo. It was all lit up. The path and the ponds were all aglow. In the middle of the gazebo there was a Christmas tree with gifts all around it. He the told me the Christmas story and had me open the rest of my gifts. Suddenly, the lights turned on behind me and the whole placed looked magical. When I turned back around he was on one knee with an absolutely gorgeous ring.”
The best part is that they chose this location for their wedding, and their first dance as husband and wife will be in this very same gazebo.
I can’t wait!Yes, they looked this good just after driving six hours.
Unreal. 😉
I love all the beautiful architecture in the Italian gardens- so so pretty.
A favorite for sure!!
And this was Mike’s perspective.
I have to say, he is turning into a stellar photographer.
I love being able to work with my hubby. 😉
I’m so glad we were able to get a few photos in the conservatory in between the crowds of people.
Another one of Mike’s that I love!!
My favorite series of the day…
They’re so cute!!
