In March we spent three days in Vegas for WPPI (the LARGEST photography convention in the US).
Just try to imagine thousands and thousands of photographers in one place. 🙂 Our life was pretty crazy at the time so it was nice to be able to get away for a few days, and if I’m honest we probably didn’t sit in nearly enough of classes to justify the cost (hey the pools were SO inviting 😉 ).
One thing I did do was get up early the one morning to attend a Katelyn James mini-workshop.
Katelyn is a Virginia based photographer who does 30+ weddings a year.
Up until this year she did everything herself,
which any of you who know a little about wedding photography will realize is super amazing.
Obviously, I was really excited to hear what she had to say, and I was not disappointed.
Here’s just a few of my photos from the workshop…
The lovely models are Buddy and Jill Powers. They looked amazing, especially considering it was like 6:30AM.
And the gorgeous florals were done by Layers of Lovely.
It was tons of fun, and if any of you ever have a chance to attend one of Katelyn’s workshops- Go for it!!
xoxo.
