They first met in April of 2009 at the PA Gospel Express Auction. A friend of Roxy introduced her to Peter & there was NO way she was gonna forget that face! He thought she was really nice, and they hung out a lot.
But at the end of the weekend, when she left for her home in North Carolina they didn’t keep in contact.
That summer her family moved to Colorado & her dad asked if he would help them move out. During that week sparks flew- they had a connection. But he was four years older than her, and there was NO way it would ever work.
Or that’s what she told herself.
A year passed and they kept in contact here and there- but very little.
And then, in September of 2010 he moved out to Colorado to work as a volunteer with New Horizons Ministries. (Her dad worked his magic once again ;)). Her family was the house parents for the guys at that point, so this meant they saw each other everyday for a year! They hung out here and there- the year went by quickly and he was gone.
They kept in contact somewhat, until four months later in January, he flew back out to see her and well, to ask if she would be his girlfriend.
Of course, she said yes.
The next several months went by quickly, and saying goodbye wasn’t getting any easier. So on August 3rd, he blew her away and asked if she would spend the rest of her life with him!
Of course, she said yes.
They’ve been inseparable since.
She loves- his love for God. How he always stands for the truth. His heart for children. He is always giving.
And he always wants the best for other people.
She can totally be herself in front of him. If she does something embarrassing- it’s all cool. They just laugh. 🙂
But most of all- she loves the way he loves her. He’s perfect for her!
He thinks she is amazing. She’s got a huge heart for children and family, he loves this. He loves her laugh.
Her heart to change things is incredible.
She’s perfect for him, and he can’t wait to spend the rest of his life with her.
After spending some time in the city we headed for my favorite part of the shoot-
The piano.
A huge thanks to my wonderful brother, sister, and husband for setting everything up.
It was perfect.
I love them.
Umm, yes, you are gorgeous girl!
Favorite? Yes, please.
Just one of the PRETTY bling.
And we finished out with just a few more portraits.
They make such a stunning couple.
Thank you guys- we love you two, and really can’t wait for your wedding in March.
xoxo.
