The Lapps were my first family for family days this year, and we had lots of fun walking around the city of Lancaster.
Lori told me a bit about her family, so here are Mike, Lori, and their beautiful family in Lori’s words.

We love hanging out as a family- doesn’t matter where. Alone or with other friends!
Our favorite family vacation spot is waiting for us at Sarasota, Florida!
We enjoy times around the campfire making smores and roasting hot dogs.
Movies are fun to watch, we all go watch Mike play ball if he’s asked to help play.
Angry birds or Settlers are our favorite games.

Mike and I have celebrated our eleventh anniversary this past January.
We are still crazy in love with each other, and dream of getting old together!
I am a stay at home mom, (Well, at least for the most part… A mom for sure … but not always at home! :)).
I always have grocery shopping to do, clothing to buy, kids to pick up at school, and all the other errands that come along with raising a family!!
I love it!

Mike works at Lapp Structures, and is the Vice President of the company. He loves his work, and does an excellent job!

I love Mike for who he is- a man that wants to live in God’s will at all times, a God-fearing man, a man with great morals and values. He’s a man that loves to laugh and have fun. He enjoys following the stock market, late night movies, chips and soda, and teaching Sunday School. He has taught me to say “no” when things are too busy.
I adore that he’s handsome, and love his blue eyes. He’s my “knight in shining armor”!!

We love date nights!!! Usually we find a place to eat (our latest favorite is Chiptole- gotta love that guacamole);
then we do some shopping as we sip on a mug of coffee with cream!
If we are lucky we find ourselves a Starbucks, and sit down to enjoy a coffee in the cafe’!
To put the cherry on top, we choose a movie to watch back home as we snuggle and enjoy every minute we have being together.
Dates are never long enough and should come a lot more often!
We are together forever in love!

Hadassah is our first born.
She’s a drama queen, and has got the art with finger nail polish. She is ten years old and in 5th grade.
She loves to snack on cucumbers and lemons, hang out and laugh, and is a witness to the world.

Matthew is child number two. He’s calm, cool and collective.
Loves, loves to play baseball in the back yard with his daddy- every night they do twenty softball catches and hits together.
Enjoys a big bowl of fruit loops and lucky charms, and likes his chips and dip.
He’s seven years old and in second grade.

Ashlyn is the youngest in our family and full of life.
She’s got gorgeous blue eyes just like her daddy, blonde hair, and new vocabulary every week.
She’s not a baby anymore (even though we still call her “baby” as a nickname sometimes).
She’s definitely entering the toddler world.
She is always happy to see her family; her daddy is her hero. She loves to eat cucumbers also but will never turn down a chocolate bite!
Seventeen months old and loving life!!!
