I was in contact with Whitney for over a year before her wedding,
so by the time the big day actually came I felt like she was more of a friend than a client.
She is the type of person who will make you feel welcomed anywhere.
She is a PLANNER, and everything was meticulously taken care of.
Whitney is super creative, and studied Photography (that was a tiny bit intimidating :)) and Metal Smithing in college.
She had painted her centerpieces, made all the bridesmaids necklaces, and her own earrings.
She loves everything different- and this reflected in her wedding gown.
It was a very elaborate gown, unlike anything I had seen before.
Very different, and very beautiful.
Jordan is the complete opposite. He’s quirky and cool.
He recently completed culinary school, and is now an accomplished chef. 🙂
They compliment each other PERFECTLY, and I was so honored to be a part of their special day!!
A special thank-you to Diane of DI Images for shooting with me!
The entire wedding took place at the gorgeous Riverdale Manor.
The gown!
She bought her wedding shoes in SPAIN!! How cool is that??
For a wedding gift, Jordan surprised Whitney with a pearl bracelet.
The bridesmaids, her mother, her family, EVERYONE was so, SO gracious and kind. And for it, I will forever love them.
Whitney’s beautiful sister, Bekah was the maid of honor.
Jordan and his groomsmen friends love video games . This is the zombie walk.
What you can’t see is the creepy noises they were making while they were coming toward the camera.
Since my camera obviously doesn’t record sound, I’m pretty sure the ONLY reason they did it was to scare me.
Mission accomplished! 😉
Wedding time!!!
The ceremony and reception were both held in the ballroom.
There was the most AMAZING sunlight coming through the windows behind them.
Since Whitney is a metalsmith they had a special unity ceremony where they melted two rings into one.
I loved this!!
After the ceremony was PICTURE TIME!! 🙂
Whitney, you are beyond gorgeous.
LOVE!!
Her cake was phenomenal.
The logo in the center of the cake was incorporated throughout the entire wedding.
The hammer represents Whitney as a metalsmith, and the knife symbolizes Jordan as a chef.
Whitney and Jordan, Thank you, thank you for allowing me to document your special day.
I wish you only the best as you begin your new life together.
