Craig and Stephanie

They have her cousin, Darren, to thank. He’s Craig’s best friend, and gets all the credit for introducing them. 🙂 It started one time when Darren texted Stephanie with Craig’s phone. It was one of those “I want to get to know you better- please send me a picture” texts that Stephanie knew wasn’t from Craig. But they texted for the rest of the night into the wee hours of the morning. They ended with agreeing that neither of them was interested in a relationship. And that was the end of that. Well, at least for a little.

Then Christmas came around. Stephanie, being the sweet person that she is, texted him to wish him a Merry Christmas… and “that’s kind of what started it again,” she says. I guess they both forgot about not being interested just a month before, because from there on out they texted 24-7. 🙂 In January they decided to meet for an evening– so they could actually talk in person. And two days later he asked her to be his girlfriend.

They’re planning a beautiful wedding for next May, and I’m more than thrilled to have the privilege of photographing it.

So after we were shooting for a while, Stephanie mentioned that neither of them likes having their picture taken very much. I had a fit. They are SO photogentic- either she was exaggerating or they are extremely good actors. 😉
