Reuben and Leah became good friends while doing clean-up work in Mississippi several years ago. As time went on, their friendship deepened, and one day they realized they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together as friends and soulmates. They will be married later this summer, and I’m sure it will be a beautiful wedding full of love and laughter.
I was thrilled with the way these pictures turned out. I think they show part of who they are… Best friends (and ardent coffee drinkers 😉 )
We were taking their pictures at Pool Forge, and Leah had a change of clothes along, so since there were no restrooms there she decided to change in the port-a-pot. Well, apparently, it didn’t lock or she forgot to lock it and along came a park ranger who needed a bathroom… yeahhh… the best part is Rueben saw him coming, but was too far away to tell him that the port-a-pot is in use. So he just laughed… HYSTERICALLY… 🙂 I know the picture isn’t the best quality, but its just too funny… poor Leah…
This was completely candid, and is one of my favorite pictures.
One of the benefits of having the second shooter is that you get two entirely different aspects of a picture. Mom captured this…
And I got this…
Reuben and Leah, Thank you so much for allowing us to document your love. Good luck with wedding plans, and we’re definitely looking forward to August!! xoxo 😉
